#Poem I am them

Sometimes you are exiled
-kings change, their vagaries, darlings-

I am there
the still wind of the desert
nightfall warmth
Harvest the whispers
they say you carry us

I am them
jokers, foresters
they long for unknown
touch the spirit

I am you
October moon
magnolia blossom
doubt in the hollows
Persian tapestry

and them
shadow escorts
awful surrender
geese on the lake

I am held in yellow light

You are Celtic rivers
the breast of the song thrush

I am them
the good
somewhere sunless, mythical
